Personally I think having the opportunity to spend what feels like an unlimited amount of money on someone else is perhaps one of the best feelings in the world, add in to the mix the lure of a soon to be new baby and you will find me on cloud nine. So it was with great excitement that I set off shopping with my mum to buy a leaving present for a pregnant friend from her office last weekend.
After browsing Cath Kidston online as well as a number of other baby catalogues we decided we would be better off "buying in the flesh" especially as the sex of the baby is as yet unknown. So we headed off to near by Darts Farm for a shopping trip.
As can be seen above we decided early on that we wanted to buy a bit for mummy and a bit for baby as well as something that will last longer than a few months (picture frame not pictured.) So we plumped for this lilly-flame candle which smells lovely and fresh and this tea pigs peppermint tea for when mother wants a well earned rest!
For baby we purchased this baby-grow covered in bees which we felt would be ideal for either sex and a soft (I mean REALLY soft) toy rabbit for snuggling. Finally we wrapped them all up in bronze spotty paper and peppermint green ribbon to match the tea!
