Do a little doodle.

Its easy in our busy lives to only complete tasks which "have a point" we rarely just sit and do whatever we feel like. For example when did you last just sit down and consider how to spend your afternoon?

I myself am intensely guilty of this, only completing drawings which are for something, this blog, a card idea etc, and only doing things I enjoy when my to-do list is empty. But this isn't always necessary! Often the most valuable things are created when we are not planning for them at all. Did you know corn flakes were created because cooked wheat was left outside to long - pretty interesting huh?

This house is a clear example of this (no, I know its not quite a best selling cereal but it did occur with very little planning.) I really did just use my free time to draw whatever I felt like and must admit I am pretty pleased with the result.

So this evening take some time to do whatever you like, no planning, no structure just BE, after all the to do list will still be there tomorrow.

Are you guilty of this? Let me know what you get up to?
