For the love of stationary

First off a confession. I am 100% a stationary geek, always have been always will be so it will be no surprise to many of you that my FiloFax is perhaps one of my most treasured possessions.

When I first bought my pink filofax I researched on a number of blogs ideas of what to get and ideas of how to set it up. So now that I have had this beauty for almost 2 years let me show you my own.

My filofax is the personal size and is a metropol (which no longer comes in this colour as far as I am aware.) This is perhaps the most popular of all the filofax sizes and big enough in my opinion to record all my info but also carry it around.

When I first bought it I received.  a transparent pocket, week diary across 2 pages, to do pages, white ruled notepad, cream 1-6 number index and cream address index (which I removed)

I also bought a pack of coloured lined paper and a financial inserts.

And heres (after a LOT of rejuggling and removing) how I organise it......

On the first opening I have a number of cards - nectar, national insurance etc that don't fir in my purse. I also have a note from my Grandad and one from a teacher when I was a school. These both hold sentimental value to me and its nice to have them with me.

After the first tab I have my weekly diary - this is an old copy with some sensitive info removed (theres normally FAR more written down.) I like to keep a backlog of 6 months in my diary so that I can look back on things and keep the rest in my desk draw for reference.

In section 2 I have pink lined paper where I keep a note of important passwords and info.

Section 3 is green and consists of to-do lists. (here a list of food for a party coming up soon)

Section 4 is lists of things like books to read, blog posts to write etc

Section 5 is addresses

and Section 6 is financial info.

I also have dark blue paper at the back for notes in case I need to make some when I am out. Finally on the back page I use the clear pocket to store more piece of sentimental value and thats more or less it.

What do you think? Do you keep a filofax or a different form of diary? I'd love to hear how you keep yourselves organised.
