Wreck This Journal #1

I've had my copy of wreck this journal for some time and have - somewhat sporadically - started to fill it up with a number of experiments and bits and bobs. Unfortunately I haven't added to it for some time and it has sat, alone on my bookshelf, gaining dust.

However today I stumbled across not one, but two of my favourite bloggers talking about their own experiences with this book -  you can check them out at vivatramp and tiny paint pot - which have inspired me to crack this book out again.

So first up heres a couple of photos to show you my progress so far, all these pages are old ones but hopefully soon I will be able to update with some pieces of my more recent creations!

This was a really fun page to complete, drawing the numbers on top of one another was quite a new way of working for me.

Although this looks like a shoe print I actually drew this from the bottom of my dads boot - I couldn't quite face putting dirty shoe prints in my journal just yet!

I'm really pleased with the effect of this page, its quite quirky an again was a lot of fun to complete!

Have you got a wreck this journal I'd love to see what you do for more inspiration? Please let me know what you think of mine too!

  1. Love these pages! :) it's funny, because the idea is to wreck it (obviously) but there's just somethinggg stopping me from getting stuck in - hopefully soon though. Thanks for the inspiration! :) x

  6. The scratch page is wonderfully effective! I keep debating whether or not to buy Wreck This Journal, as I don't really consider myself to be that creative. I am a perfectionist though, and will probably compare mine (unfavourably) to other people's work though... so that would be awkward...
